The town and his region

Nuits Saint-Georges is a typical village of the area. On the higher coasts, we find pines plantations. On the inclination are exposed, on East & South-East, the best vineyards. The village gave its name to Côte de Nuits, an area from southern Dijon to the beginning of Côte de Beaune. Wine growers in Nuits-Saint-Georges make red wine mainly. The other villages which use to make Côte de Nuits are Gevrey-Chambertin, Morey-Saint-Denis, Chambolle-Musigny, Vougeot and Vosne-Romanée.

Nuits Saint Georges produces mostly red wine. It is sturdy and stylish. The bouquet is intense and fragrant. The other villages producing "Côte de Nuits" are Chambertin, Morey-Saint-Denis, Chambolle-Musigny, Vougeot and Vosne-Romané.
